Unmarried 19 year old Mary is brought to the religious mother & baby home by her mother, Mrs Adams. She is seven months pregnant. Other pregnant girls staying at the home are Queenie, Dolores & Norma. All the girls have to come to terms with having to give their babies up for adoption.
This heartbreaking yet funny play written in 1997 by Amanda Whittington shows us how attitudes have changed since the early 1960s .
A superb soundtrack accompanies the play featuring music from the girl groups of the early 1960s - The Shirelles, The Ronettes, The Crystals, The Dixie Cups & The Chiffons.
